This book was a wild adventure! Old timey witch meets handmaids tale with love and betrayal and the dark mother. This book takes you on a journey and you never know what each character is planning on doing next. It’s a little graphic so keep that in mind

Oof this book had me HOOKED. The tags/themes that are listed on here are very accurate- this book is not for the faint of heart. While there were times when it was confusing, I enjoyed reading this!

3.5 ⭐s. The real horror is humans, and if you don't know that yet, let this absolute gem of a book remind you. Scary but not too scary (I say this with confidence as The World's Biggest Scaredycat ™️), with impeccable social commentary and some gorgeous world-building, I really don't quite know why this didn't hit home for me like like it did for other reviewers that I know and trust. Overall, a great read that I highly recommend. Just not everything I ever wanted.
