První díl série Neohrožená nebyl vůbec špatný, akorát mě dost zklamalo, že v anotaci je popsán skoro celý děj této úzké knížky, takže vás tam nic moc nepřekvapí... Ale dost možná si přečtu i další díly!

Childhood fave from Francine Pascal. Gaia Moore is a teenage girl with all the angst and insecurity that comes with being a teenager, oh, and she’s genetically missing the “fear gene”. The writing isn’t too complex, it’s an easy read and this is the first in a 36+ series that delves into the mystery of Gaia’s past, her family, and how she navigates being a teenager in late-90s New York. She’s not the most likeable, forcing herself to remain an outsider and keeping everyone at arms length as a self-preservation tactic. We are introduced to Gaia and her new friends and guardians in this first entry into the Fearless series.

What great fun! So nostalgic that could be partially why I love it so, but it was another one of those books I just couldn't put down and blew through in less than 24 hours. I'm not sure if that constitutes greatness, but it certainly shows how compelling the story was, even all these years later. And fun fact: they are being re-released in compilations of three, So the first two compilations containing the first six books I have definitely seen on the bookshelves, as for the others I am unsure. Anyways, loved it, just like I did when I was a kid.

Loved thesr books as a teen. I never read the first one and wanted to. Think these are better as a paper read instead of an audio book. Will finish the series one day.

Despite it's length this book was a fast read. It kept me engaged well-enough that I wanted to see what happened. It wasn't a bad book but there wasn't anything GREAT about it.

This took a bit of getting into, but then I was hooked and devoured it in about half an hour on a flight ha! Am going to track down the next one and see if it's as addictive.
And then I worked out that this author was Sweet Valley High which was one of my favourite series. I think I read them all. And the university ones. Oh yes, YOUTHS.

I read a ton of books in this series. I couldn't stop. It was compulsive, as soon as I put down one book, I went to the store and bought the next. Somewhere along the line I realized the books were never ending and just sort of stopped lol but I really liked these, they kept my days interesting.
