I am a little surprised by how much I LOVED this book. At first I was a little confused, but as I kept reading I loved the characters and how the chapters weren't so drawn out you had to wait FOREVER to get back to the "main" story. I think this was a beautiful story about love and hope and humanity.

I really wanted to love this book.
The premise and the enemies to lovers trope is one of my favorites.
This book was slow paced and could not hold my attention.
