I miss the kids, but it was nice tobsee some reoccurring characters from the earlier books.
Accidentally reading these out of order oops. I continue to really like the episodic nature of each of the stories, the heartfelt tone throughout each, and the cameos of previous characters throughout the book. I love that there's actually a lot of character introspection in such a short period as customers decide on whether or not they want to go back in time, which has definitely made them more likeable to me.

Virkelig en god bog, som får dig til at tænke og reflektere over livet og livets mange drejninger. Men lad ikke coveret snyde dig, den er slet ikke så sød og hyggelig som den ser ud (faktisk det stik modsatte). Jeg elsker virkelig det her universet hvor serien finder sted og det er en gave at vende tilbage i hver bog. Dog var den sidste fortælling i den her bog “The Daughter” GUTWRENCHING!!!!

Despite being the fourth book in the series, Before We Say Goodbye is more akin to a companion piece to the first novel, with all the stories taking place during that period of time. Fumiko has gone back to the past, but Kohtake is still using her maiden name.
I found the story about the dog to be my favorite of the bunch.

I cried over the dog and over the father, I think he could’ve gone more in depth about the father story. I didn’t like that this one mainly focused on the customers and nothing really new about the workers. Also it went back in time which kind of messed with me
