This graphic novel takes place in the future(?) dystopian world of an underground prison society. It focuses on two parallel story lines and I couldn't get enough of the women's love for each other. They have a familial bond, but it's defined vaguely, left to interpretation. Quite a lot is left to interpretation, allowing you to come up with your own conclusions about this world.

I definitely cared more about zoe and ele than Reece and Malcolm but maybe that's just cause I'm gay lol. I did like the colors in the parts with ele and Zoe. Not necessarily my kind of thing but I don't regret reading it.
