Sooooooo good. I can’t wait to see what happens next. I was so excited for this book release and it did not take me long to finish. I love it!

Love love love a true dual POV like this.

Truly felt a bit of betrayal when it’s revealed that
Marroc/Galin is actually…BLONDE!!

Also, didn’t love that he went from eating souls to just drinking blood. Was hoping for something a little different then a traditional vampire.

Unique story!

What a unique tale! I really enjoyed the ride thus far. While there isn't a ton of romance in this first book, I'm anxious to see where Ali and Galin end up!

This book was ok. I love the plot idea. I was just expecting more. When you deal with mythology and fantasy your world building has to be immaculate in my opinion especially high fantasy. Lower fantasy should have a much better magic system. I like the idea of G & A but I was hoping for a little more chemistry a bond was forced into the story and not given time to grow. Unfortunately, I won't be reading the last two books of the trilogy.

Just so…bland? I really don’t know how to describe it. There’s no chemistry between the MCs, and lots of contradicting narrative. He’s a Lich and feels nothing, but can supposedly take a mate?

None of the story flows properly. It was a hard pass for me and I felt like I really had to dredge through it just to finish it.
