I have very mixed feelings at this moment. Yes - I loved this book. Did the author ruin it at the end? Possibly? What happens in the next book will make or break the series for me.

The first part of the book dragged a little bit compared to Fourth Wing but once Part 2 arrived, SHIT GOT REAL. The plot twists are so good. Some had me open mouthed in shock, some had me balling like a baby, and some had me smiling from ear to ear. Also, her spicy scenes are *chefs kiss.* I am definitely in love with Xaden too. A fantastic second half. I was very happy with the ending because it was so surprising to me what happened. I cannot wait for the next book in the series!
