this book cause it honestly isnt the best. however it did have some moments that made me laugh. Its not the worst book in the world but its not my fav. someone on TikTok said it was a gay enemies to lovers and I was so hyped... I would just like to say, they were 'enemies' for like 5 seconds and then the next they were making out. I felt like the book was poorly written, and it felt forced at times. Casey tried to cover some many topics in one book and I feel they just didnt do a good job. I would've loved if the book actually did have more of a would they? should they? element, because I feel like if she wanted to make the book a bit more relatable, that would've been the way to go.

A fun, charming book. Reading the author's concept for writing this novel helped me see what she was trying to give to her audience and it was hope. Hope that things will change and improve politically in the US of A and that lgbtq relationships will become as common place as heterosexual relationships. It's not deep and philosophical but it's a book that comes across as yearning for a brighter future.

Con: The amount of cursing in it had me a little thrown and didn't really add much to the story.

The premise of the book was good - son of US president and son of a British monarch falling in love and having to hide their relationship. However, I was turned off with all the in depth sex scenes.
