He literally slut shamed her and told her she asked for it because of the way she dressed. I was speechless. I don’t understand how she still ended up with him lol

I don’t care what y’all say about this book. I ATE IT UP. Perfect bully romance with amazing Dom/Sub moments. I loved it so much. Finally a book that reminded me of Rina Kent.

as soon as the words “dressed like that… you were asking for it” fell out of his mouth, i wanted to throw this book into a fire.
Anyone that knows me knows that I love a bully romance. There's just something about the trope that I love. The hero treating the heroine like a complete jerk and ands up falling for them and in some ways becomes redeemed. I also love those books where the hero is irredeemable and being an a-hole is part of their makeup. This book has a little of both.
So this was my first book by Monica Murphy and really didn't know what to expect. I wasn't familiar with her writing style or even what this book was really about. All I knew is that the hero hates the heroine and then proceeds to steal her journal to use against her. I was actually pleasantly surprised.
Whit is the epitome of spoiled rich kid bully. MM wasn't shy in making him unlikeable. I hated the guy for a good chunk of the book. He made Summer's life unbearable! Some might question why she's even attracted to him but there's this intense magnetism and chemistry between them. The book was steamy as all get out too. This is probably the steamiest bully romance I've read yet and to think these were high school students! My goodness, if only my high school experience was like this.
Anyway, I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to reading about Whit's cousin in A Million Kisses In Your Lifetime. Hopefully we get a little cameo of Whit and Summer in this one.
