Amazing, but could do without the memory loss trope from one of her novels at the very least.

My top romantasy recommendation to anyone who will listen. I loved it, everything tied together beautifully, and the only thing I would change would be turning it into a series. The plot twist was also unexpected and still made sense. 10/10 book.

Unfortunately I didn't like this as much as I was hoping to :( I really enjoyed the Celestial Kingdom duology by this author, but even though this book is set in the same world, I just found myself not getting attached to the story. I found myself just not caring about the plot and the characters that much. It definitely didn't help that I fell into a reading slump about 1/3 of the way through this as well. Oh well, you win some, and you lose some!
