Wasn’t my fav VR book but at this point, I’m already attached to characters and the town - so I loved to see the various character developments. The introduction of new storylines were also seamless.
Abby’s guts was v frustrating and she acted way out of line. She really didn’t need to do Cameron dirty like that. It was difficult to root for her even though things worked out well for her.
On the other hand, post-war Ricky was v depressing but I loved Lizzie’s character growth from a weeping teenager to a strong and confident young woman who calls Rick out on his crap.

It is always nice to spend some time in Virgin River. This is my go-to series when I'm in the mood for a solid contemporary romance. Robyn Carr's characters are so true to life. And, of course, Jack Sheridan always brings a smile to my face.

I honestly loved the different storylines we got in then book! It was more then Rick and Liz but Cam and Abby, Walt, and Muriel, and Cheryl and Dan (who I now love)! Also this book had me laughing so much!

I had to come back the series after watching the disappointing season 2 on Netflix. I can’t believe what Ricky and Lizz have gone through. They are strongest couple in the whole book series by far and the youngest. I’m really glad they found each other again after Ricky injury at War. It was heartbreaking reading his hardships since in the first 2 books he always a good kid with kind heart.
The book also closed up Cameron & Abby and caught up with Walt & Muriel. Mel, Jack, & preacher were great supporters.
At the end Brady finally changes his ways and meets someone.

By far one of my favorites in this series. So many returning characters got a more developed story line and the strongest theme was redemption. Characters came out of rehab and other characters went into counseling. It's Virgin River so obviously there was a lot of sex and romance, but this time it was clear that you need more than just love to reach your highest potential.
