This is such a fun middle school grade book. I actually had a ten year old come into my library and rave about this and he told me I should read this. I really like that it is written by Jo Nesbo, he usually writes adult murder mystery books so this a totally different vibe but I think he did a great job. I might even read one of those adult murder mysteries, which is something I wouldn't normally read) just because I enjoyed this so much.

This was a read aloud and we’re usually in for a good fart joke but tbh the writing (or the translation?) was pretty stinky.

The first book in what is sure to be a hilarious series. The pairing of Jo Nesbo and Mike Lowery reminds me of Roald Dahl partnered with Quentin Blake, in the best way possible. I will be posting an in-depth review of this series on How I Feel About Books soon.

Thoroughly fun. My third book by Nesbo, none of them featuring Harry Hole.

Cute, silly, not much substance, but Nicholas adored it and was eager to read it on his own.
