I don't know why but I forgot how much I LOVED Gabriel. He's cold and emotionally unavailable and can be an ass but he is so lovely. He's a mother hen, he is caring, he is a little nerd, he is built like Superman, he has a Ferrari, he's British, he doesn't pick up on romantic cues and loves cuddling.

Sophie is also a FMC that I like. Which is rare for me. She has her own head but isn't dumb or annoyingly stubborn. She is funny and caring and flirty. She knows that she made mistakes in her life but also knows that those do not define who she is now.

I loved that this book had both: the sweet, romantic scenes and cuddles as well as the flirty, hot bickering. Especially the cuddles in connection with Gabriels usual coldness and touch-aversion were great, seeing as I'm a fan of it myself and also not a very emotional person. It was nice to see those two aspects combined.

The fallout in the end...well, not necessary and could have been avoided but hey. There always has to be that one big falling out in every romance books and this one is not as bad and dumb as some others.

And also, on a more real-life note: if you have sleep problems that are bad enough to keep you up several nights in a row, please for the love of the gods, go and see a doctor. Because sleeping next to your one and only is not a magical cure...

Gave it 4 stars because I loved the characters and their bickering. With that said, the "problem" they had to face was not a problem at all. It felt as if the auther just tried to blow it out of proportion to create some dramatic moment but it didn't event achieved that because it lasted like 20 pages max.
But I love Gabriel😊
