Fallen SEAL Legacy is the second installment of the SEAL Brotherhood series. In it, yu will meet Calvin and Libby. I will admit this book was a bit better than the first one and it also had a side of creepy element to it.

So these two main characters have something in common: being hurt. Whether it's a family death or two.. or finding out you put your trust in the wrong person. They've got it. Calvin just had his whole world flipped upside down. An unexpected tornado wiped out his family and all he has left from home is his dog. Then there's Libby who is trying to get her masters but ends up being molested by her mentor.

These two were cute and you could definitely hear the chemistry in this book. However, I will forever cringe when I hear the word nob. It's a step up from mound I guess.. but still cringing. Forever cringing.

Besides all of that, there's some creepy guy lurking around in Libby's life. I liked the twists and turns shoved my way - mostly because it got me away from the word nob, but it was good. Overall, I liked the ending as much as I could and I even dove into the next book.

Let's see how this series is going to go.

Another really exciting story full of all sorts of action. Another strong female character with a SEAL that just loves that part of her. Book two in the Seal Brotherhood lets us go visit all the seal team guys again - wish I had seen a little bit more of our couple in book one, but the rest of the guys were definitely present in a big way. Cooper (owner of the Babemobile) is about to find the woman that is going to change his world. And he really needs that after losing his entire family.

Libby is awesome. My only fault is the whole "I loved you at first sight" thing. I just don't buy it - lust, yes. But not love. Libby is a fighter and she's not going to let anything bad happen if she can do something about it. She was fun and quirky and she loved her cat. Her family was a bit weird though.

Libby's father was my least favorite part of the story. He was supposed to be a bit off I think, but he was just really not a person I could imagine staying with Libby and her mom. Wanting to put everyone in danger just because he thought he was smart just didn't seem like something a dad would do.

The ending was out of this world. I loved the build up of suspense. Watching the SEALs in action was fantastic and my heart was pounding the whole time.

I received a copy of the Audio in exchange for my honest opinion.

Wow! I can not believe how many emotions I had during this audio. The beginning was so sad. Poor Coop to lose his family in a tornado.

In this book, we got a lot.

I needed to know what/who/why to what was going on at the Brownlee's house. Why was this all happening? Who was doing this? I was guessing who was doing this from the start of it. I am not going to say who because I do not want to give away anything that is good!

My favorite part of the book is when Austin, Libby's dad, and Coop interacted. They had me laughing. My favorite line from Austin is "She's f*cking him! She thinks she's in love with him." You need to read why Austin said this. Each time they interacted, it was like they were a part of an atom, where one of them is the neutron and the other was the proton. Meaning each time they bounced off of one another---> Complete opposites in each conservation.

It was nice to see that the other SEALs from Book #1 was in this book, too. I still love Freda's voice. It still makes me laugh.

This was another amazing read (listen...hehe)!!

SEAL Brotherhood Book Two

Libby Brownlee has come home to escape her mentor, who attacked her in his office. She wants a break and to recover from the experience. However, when Navy SEAL Calvin "Coop" Cooper shows up on Libby's doorstep to talk to her father, Libby's world is changed forever. Coop has lost his family in a devastating natural disaster and is ordered to speak to the family of a fallen SEAL. When he meets Libby, he is intrigued. However, her father is not happy that the Navy is intruding on his life again. When Libby's cat is killed and her family is terrorized, Coop knows he shouldn't get involved but can't stop himself.

If you're looking for a great team of special operators on American soil, this series is for you!

I am sorry i just didn't like it. I don't like it when the hero starts off with one woman then later falls for the love of his life who is a different woman, i just don't like it. The book starts off with the hero the morning after being with a girl and i just didn't take to him.
The writing was okay but it wasn't for me.

I tried to give this a fair shot. I really, really did but in a nutshell there was just too much stupid going on.
For starters, I thought the way Ms Hamilton handled the death of Coop's family was shallow and it felt like they were treated more like an after thought rather than something enormously earth shattering than had happened to Coop.
For the most part, I liked Coop and Libby but I did not get far in enough to really form an opinion about them other than the fact that they seemed rather one dimensional as people. I knew a bit more about Coop from his previous mentions in the first book of the series Accidental SEAL but what really got me was the fact that Ms Hamilton could not make up her mind about how tall Coop was. Between Accidental SEAL, SEAL Endeavor and this book, Coop has managed to yo-yo between 6'4" and 6'7" several times. I think Ms Hamilton finally settled on 6'4" but I can't be certain.
Libby had a rather unfortunate encounter with a professor in university whom she trusted which sent her running home and taking a break from her studies. This also seems to be the reason for making her rather gun shy about men in general and questioning her own judgment. Funnily enough, this did not seem to be enough to stop her from falling for Coop right away. Her mistrust of men seems to be rather convenient at times and rather conveniently missing at other times. I'd rather she had more consistent reactions when it came to men in general and had a more cautious build up to her attraction to Coop.
Finally, Libby's father, who is a renowned psychiatrist. What a class A jerk!! I can think of worse things to call him, but seriously, he's supposed to be a great psychiatrist with a deep understanding of the human condition, and yet, when Coop approached him to pay his respects, he was rude, belligerent and an all round douche canoe. Considering what Coop had just gone through, you'd think he'd be more compassionate.
All of that added up to me not having the patience to deal with one dimensional, unreasonable characters.
Sadly, much as I enjoy the narrator J D Hart, and I was hoping this series would give me a nice stock of audiobooks to listen to, I don't think it would be the case. I don't think I'm going to continue with the series. I find the characters in the stories too intolerable.

After losing his entire family to a tornado, Coop is assigned to learn more about the family of a fallen hero. Greeted my a gruff welcome, it's made perfectly clear that the eldest surviing family doesn't wan to dig up the past.
His daugher Libby, is smitten with Coop, and after a recent tragedy of her own, she could use the disctraction!
I'm enjoying this series immensely, as it always keep you guessing and on your toes! I found myself gasping and/or crying at several parts, and can't wait for more!

Sharon Hamilton has done it again! What a great read this second book has been! Great character growth and plot. I would have liked to see some SEAL action in these books but I'm ok with a look into their down time for a change. I really liked how important family was to both main charcters. The romance was HOT and STEAMY!!! I'm looking forward to the next book in this series!
