I loved this serial book! It was amazing and I was hooked from page one! I loved the writing and how it the chapters would go from present to past. Scarlett Edwards did a fantastic job by writing this! love love love it! And may I say even though our guy is bad, there is just something about him that I love! And the ending in this! Wow! I loved it, it was different from any books I have ever read.

5 stars from me <3

I received this book for free through Goodreads First Reads.

hmmm, where to start... I did actually enjoy the writing. I didn't find myself bored at any point during this book, but there wasn't a lot of substance to it. We learn about Lilly, sort of. There is a lot of jumping back and forth. 1 week ago, 3 months ago, present day, 1 year ago, etc. To me, it gave more depth to the character, which I enjoyed.

During the last 20 pages or so, we learn a little bit about "JS"...kind of. Though not much, I suspect this is going to be saved for part 2.

In the end, I probably won't be purchasing book 2. I suppose this will be an erotica book...eventually, there was just NONE in the first book. The only interaction between the 2 characters was when they met, which unfortunately was not enough to get me hooked.

This series seems to be really good so far!
Lily is a little daft at times and I keep waiting for Jeremy's character to come out.
I'm off to read Submission now...

Well, the book is good, but way to similar to Aleatha Romig's Consequences

If you are a book reader you must read uncovering you. This book is a great read it will keep you on your toes. A collar with no leash, a dark cold prison with no wall. And a life stripped away of a meaning just when things were looking up. This book is one of those books that you can't put down its 125 pages of Omg jaw dropping climax. This series unfolds over multiple series and it will have you grabbing your credit card to buy the next one. Lilly alone in a dark room when she wakes up she doesn't know how she got there. The only thing she's left with is her memories to comfort her during the dark and gruesome days and her sanity but she's beginning to question that . when Lilly presented with a contract she has to decide whether or not she wants to live and become his slave or die. The book is written from Lilly point of view and the author does a excellent job of pulling you into each character. Lilly life hasn't been a walk in the park and it isn't going to get any better it seems. I'll tell you now that reading about her life through the constant flashbacks that she has and her realizing that she's going to have to make a decision sooner rather than later takes you on journey. This was a great story and I had to get the second one if you want to buy this book it's on sale at Amazon for 99 cents and it's well worth it. Also I gave it a five rating cause it's not to many books that I can say that I read and don't want to put down I telling you I had my book to my nose for 2 hours reading I locked myself in my room and put up my mommy is reading sign and I was pulled into Lillys world and it became my own.

Uncovering You:The Contract is the first book in the Uncovering you series by Scarlett Edwards. It appears that all of the books build up from the previous one sonthe books must be read in chronological order.
Lilly Ryder wakes up in a bare room with nothing but a string on the ankle and a collar permanently attached on her neck. J.S. is her mysterious napper. He has left her one very specific instruction... sign the contract.
This is one of those books that reviews must be kept brief because in a few sentences you can ruin the entire story so... that's my review. Enjoy!
My thoughts:
In short, I am intrigued. I want to know more about thia story and how the story develops. I think Scarlett did an amazing job with the passages through time and it was very simple to follow. Like in some scenes in the story, it felt as though I was mentally shutting off a light switch and turning it on to a new place in time.

I did not know what to think of at first.

It started off with Lilly waking up realizing that she has been kidnapped and it ends with her finally figuring out who actually is behind all of it. This whole story had me guessing and wondering and then finely getting excited when I realized where it was going.

I cannot wait until the rest of them come out. I believe these are going to be some interesting intense reads.

Nice to have a heroine who doesn't crumble and submit lustfully to her captor within 45 minutes. However, not sure I'm on board with the whole serial aspect.
