This book was really eye opening. My love languages are acts of service and quality time. My fiance's are physical touch and words of affirmation.

Everyone should know their own, their spouses, and as best they can, their children.

Wow! I started reading the book back in 2022, didn't quite finish it - was about 80% through. But, the audiobook made what I've read crystal clear! I swear by my statement that non-fictional audiobooks' information just comes more clear to me than actually reading it.

The narration by Gary Chapman was spot on! Love this book & I'd recommend EVERYONE to read it, or listen to it! ♥️

I was actually really excited to read this book! I am glad that I was able to get through it so fast haha, it was actually quite a short read. Anyway, I had always thought that I was physical touch but as time went on, I came to think that I was both physical touch and quality time. But after reading this, I think that I am more quality time than physical touch! Now that I'm in college, I find myself calling my parents every day just wanting to talk to them because I don't talk to a ton of people here. I just want to spend time with the people that I love and I thrive when I am hanging out with friends or am home for breaks.

Such a fun read!

I've been familiar with the concepts in this book for a long time and finally read the whole thing. A very helpful framework for viewing differences in couples. I will probably use some of these ideas with my clients.
