This is my all time favorite romance. Hands down the best. I read it genuinely every winter when it starts to get cold. The writing, the characters, the plot, chefs kiss.

I liked this book. Not sure if I'll continue with the series or not. The main character seemed immature to me for most of the novel but by the end I kind of liked her. It was really annoying to me that she wasn't more concerned with who mailed out her letters, like what????

Oh my word so much better than the summer I turned pretty. Like, are we sure this is the same writer? I actually LOVED the characters in this. Its my definition of a cozy read. It just puts you in that setting and mood of love and home. The beginning was a tad slow and Peter was definitely ruder than he is in the movie 😆 and this book wasn't exciting or anything, but a super easy read that ill definitely try to reread some day. Usually these YA romance books just make me annoyed and I hate the FMC but I honestly didn't this time.

la verdad es que me ha parecido más un fic que otra cosa, pero aun así me ha gustado

I enjoyed the family dynamics of the story and most of the characters. I had seen the Netflix movie before but only had vague memories of it. Overall an enjoyable read.

This book was recommended to me by Team EpicReads of Harper Collins.

I was always the girls that pined for boys - the one who was a friend and enjoyed their company and dreamed of kissing them - but never the one who got them. Lara Jean is such a relatable character if you've ever been in this situation. She writes letters to boy's she's loved as a goodbye. She never intended for them to be read; they were just for her. Unfortunately for Lara, the letters get sent and she's stuck fielding questions and offers from boys she hasn't loved in years. She's spent so much of her life pining for a relationship that she has trouble dealing when she actually gets to live one, even if it is as Peter K's fake girlfriend and even if it's for the sole benefit of trying to get one of the other boys to forget about her.

I adore the family relationships in this novel. Lara Jean is the middle of three sisters with a great dad and a mom who has passed away. Their relationship, refreshingly, is totally normal and actually pretty great. The sisters all look out for one another and their father, and they enjoy each other's company. So many YA books are caught up in the dysfunctional family scenario that it was nice to read a book where that wasn't the case.

The characters in this book all feel so real to me. There are definitely the stereotype characters that you expect - the snotty popular girl, the rebel, the golden boy, the jocks, the nerd - but they are all written without exaggeration. They feel like real people that I went to high school with, and again, that's a really nice change.

Alas, the book ended too soon, but at least the sequel comes out soon! I can't wait to see where Lara Jean takes me next!
