I love the movies over the books to be honest. Peter and Lara Jean’s relationship in the book seemed forced and it was awkward to see that in the book.

honestly I was obsessed w this movie, so the rating is maybe a little artificially inflated due to nostalgia, but I enjoyed this. A little annoyed that it seems like some of the resolution to this plot comes in the next book, but other than that it was fun and flirty.

Kavinksy is much better in the movie but he still grows on ya by the end. Clearly Jenny Han likes the love triangles but I am glad the movie also took that out. Overall still a fun, light read that had cute moments. Love Kitty and all the fam moments

i probably would’ve loved this if i’d read it when i was younger. now, the story just feels too cliché—fake dating, really? it’s cute, but it no longer clicks with me. i’m about 90% sure my tastes have shifted for good, so i doubt i’ll return to finish the rest of the series.
