I wish the author would have continued the story a little further, but maybe there will be a part two? Overall, it was a good book and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Quick Summary: An "in your face" declaration

My Review: One in a Million by Kimberla Lawson Roby was all that!

About the Book: What would you do if your husband suddenly came home and confessed that he was no longer in love with you? What would you say if you heard him admit that he had been having an affair with another woman for two years? How would you react if he strategically served you with divorce papers?

In the blink of an eye, Kennedi Mason's life changed. She went from a happily married woman to a woman spurned. She also became a winner of millions. Because of the changes that speedily impacted her life, she started to see truths about her family, about herself, and about her future.

My Final Say: This short novel was packed with power. It was ultimately about one woman's journey of self discovery and freedom from cruel intentions. Readers who like books where wronged females triumph over those who hurt and use them will appreciate this book.

3 solid stars.
Audio book format. Great reader. 200 pages seemed more like a short story. Pretty good. Not a waste of time. Not exceptional. I enjoyed the beginning, middle and the ending. On another note "A Dollar and A Dream", by Carl Weber is my favorite lottery, short story.

I think I had this book when it first came out, but couldn't remember. So I decided to listen to the audio version from the library. A great story with a lot of surprises, especially at the end.
