Funny, entertaining, light. A bit crass and surfacey at times...I was hoping for a bit more depth. But I loved the travel stories and the independence of the author. I love international adventure, and it was fun to hear about her experiences. I also appreciate a story from a woman who is not solely focused on motherhood, but has other priorities and interests.

DID NOT FINISH: 60%

My first DNF in a very, very long time: got about 60% through before throwing in the towel.

Though married, I don’t have children (by choice), and I love to travel. My husband and I live abroad, and spend every chance we get going on a new adventure. So I thought this book was made for me. That I’d discover new foods, cultures, and sites through her that I could then go and explore. Or find new things about places I’ve been to and I love. But this is not a travel book-this is a book about a single woman’s sexual activity that happens to take place around the globe. It just got to be too much-it was boring, quite frankly, and not why I was interested in the book.

The author also seems fairly privileged, and unaware of her privilege, in addition to seemingly selfish and judgmental. Perhaps that changes by the book’s end, but I didn’t wait to find out. There are also tones of racism (some more overt than others).

Ultimately gave it two stars because there were parts I did enjoy, and I chuckled a few times.

Loved her writing style! It’s dangerous to read this book- will make you consider quitting everything and traveling the world!

DID NOT FINISH

I expected a travel memoir. Not a recounting of the author’s escapades with various lovers she met while traveling. Made it through 44% of the book, when I realized the sex wasn’t a part of her story, but rather the whole story.

I really liked this book for what it is!!! It’s nothing serious, just a girl living her life (and running from her problems)!!! We all do it one way or another, and this bitch had fun with it!!!

As a fellow solo female traveler, I live for the stories. I did find it a little much how a sexual escapade was always wanted, because it’s a little much, but hey. It’s damn good entertainment and I can’t be mad at that. I loved reading her stories of the conversations she had, boys she talked to, and memories made. It’s the stuff I live for too so I get her and the desire for it fr. I’m a sucker for a good travel story 🤭

It was a lighthearted comedy read. It can make you feel reflective, but it’s not a therapy book and it’s a comedy. I loved it for what it is, get after it girl and I wish I would meet you in a bar abroad!!

Special note: Argentina is one of my favorite countries I’ve been to, so this one touched my heart a little extra 🥹
