The title is hilarious—as is the book. It's not beautifully written, but it's worth your time just for the laughs!

Didn’t love this one.. the ending is sweet, but lack luster. And the title doesn’t truly make sense. If this is a book about being single, then why is the majority of it about her unhappy and wanting to find love, and not about her enjoying the trip? There’s also a lot of ‘I stopped eating and waxed everything’ which breeds horrible habits.

American woman travels to a few countries, shagging men. Could have done with a little bit more...anything, really. It was an easy enough read, though, and made me want to go to Argentina.

This book is for everyone. Well, everyone 18 and over.

If you're looking for a smart, hilarious, relatable memoir, then look no further than this book. It chronicles life events and travels of a comedic writer living in Los Angeles. She constantly struggles with commitment to relationships and doesn't understand why she isn't the "normal" person that settles down at ages 26, 28, 30, 35...so what does she do?

She travels all over the globe, "doing the thing to do in the place to do it."

Each chapter discusses a different excursion, most of which are in new places. She learns life lessons within each of these trips, and she also never hesitates to tell it like it is. Basically, expect blunt, in-your-face, laugh out loud moments and memories within each chapter. This book reads quickly, too; I was never worried about what page I was on because I wanted her witty banter to last forever.

While this book is hilarious, it also brings up tough life decisions. Most of these issues revolve around relationships and this struggle of giving up a love for one thing for a love of another. I don't want to get too much into this idea, but I think it is a topic that resonates with so many people.

This memoir will inspire you to hop on Expedia and book a trip halfway across the world to experience life and learn things about yourself that can't be found sitting down in one place. Please pick this book up. It's my favorite book to-date.
