Kristen Newman tackles love, travel, and heartbreak (both platonic and romantic) in a funny and insightful way. It was definitely a much needed escape from the monotony of Quarantine/ COVID-19

As a man that married one of Kristin's friends, I found this to be a fun, quick read that I totally enjoyed. Some very good travel tips. Well, one good travel tip. Nothing to heavy. (I didn't actually marry her friend in my early twenties, but I may as well have.)

I went in to this read with high hopes, thinking it was going to be fast paced and scandalous. Unfortunately it felt repetitive to the point where the book stayed on my bedside table for months without me taking the time to finish it.

One of the best travel books I've ever read. Equal parts inspiring and funny.

2017 Read Harder - Read a travel memoir

this book was humorous and relatable and fun to hear her stories and travel with her!

Did anyone else envision Father Juan as Dani Rojas?!

"I love that I am but one of millions of single girls hitting the road by themselves these days. A hateful little ex-boyfriend once said that a house full of cats used to be the sign of a terminally single woman, but now it is a house full of souvenirs acquired on foreign adventures. He said it derogatorily. But I say that plane tickets replacing cats might be the best evidence of women's progress as a gender. I'm damn proud of us. Also, since I have both a cat and a lot of foreign souvenirs, I broke up with that dude and went on a really great trip."

Audiobook

This book is everything I loved about solo traveling and more. Give this book as a gift to any adventurous girls in their twenties that are longing to travel. And Kristin, if you're reading this, please write a sequel. I'm begging you. Also . . . do you want to be friends??
