untouchable is, thus far, my favorite in the series. a big reason is that this had the strongest characters.

i personally couldn't fully connect with the mmcs in the previous books; however, i really enjoyed the mmc in untouchable. typically, in a book that has an fmc with overthinking tendencies and insecurities, the mmc feeds into those habits and it causes a lot of issues. but nate was so understanding and patient with hannah and it was such a nice change of pace.

hannah as our fmc was such a great character! i was laughing at most of her interactions and inner dialogues. i know some people can find characters like this frustrating, but i loved her and felt so seen by her struggles. great representation as always from talia hibbert

i loved the presentation of the workplace dynamic between a boss and employee. those boundaries were respected and acknowledged throughout the novel. i've personally never seen a conversation like this presented so, again, good way of branching out.

Gah! How does this author make me love each book more than the last? I was trying to find something to read and nothing was doing it for me. I kept starting and stopping because that wasn't what I wanted to read. Then Untouchable came in at the library so I picked it up and thought okay, let's try this. Probably won't be what I want right now, but I am out of ideas so why not. And then I proceeded to do nothing but read this book until I was done. I love the way this author writes, the characters she creates that are so beautiful and real, this world that I want to be in. I wish I were friends with these ladies. I wish I knew them and could hang out with them. Oh, I love it. I keep expecting to find one I don't like as much as the others, but that hasn't happened yet. I am so so happy I found this author! New favorite author for sure!

Update after re-read:
Oh how I adore this book! I loved Hannah and how prickly she is. I loved how much Nate adored her for exactly who she is. I loved these two. They really are perfect together and I again couldn't put this story down once I started. Love love love!

Hannah suffers from depression and anxiety and she hasn't had a job she enjoys since she destroyed the car of the man who hurt her sister with a cricket bat, now she's not legally allowed to work in public childcare.
Nate is a widower with 2 kids under the age of 7 and has moved back to Ravenswood to help care for his mother who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, he's frazzled and doesn't like any of the nannies he's met so far. His brother Zach who is friends with Hannah suggests her as a possibility.
She becomes his nanny, it's only slightly stressful to work for your first crush right? Hannah's head is a very pessimistic, insecure place to be, but I love her and her straight forward approach to things. Nate is essentially a giant teddy bear with insomnia, their late night hang outs are very sweet with one caring for the other depending on who needs what even before the relationship becomes physical. Hannah is also super shy about sex, to the point were she can and will consistently psyche herself out of having an orgasm which was a cool perspective to see.

3.5 ⭐️ I really enjoyed this. I wish there was more of it and the end wasnt so rushed but it was a cute, sweet romance that has you smiling the whole way through. A light read thats worth your time.

It’s no secret that I love Talia Hibbert and I love the characters she writes. While the first book in this series is my absolute favorite, I also adored untouchable. Hannah, Nate and of course the kids. It was a pleasure reading this story and I can’t wait to read book 3!!

This is my third Talia Hibbert (and Ravenswood) book, and I must say that I really am enjoying them. My rating is probably 3.5 stars, but I've rounded up for what I thought was a very sensitive and interesting portrayal of living with mental health challenges. Hannah was a such a strong, vulnerable, and sympathetic lead, and I really liked getting insight into her relationship with her mother (and father) and I loved the tattoo. Nate was also quite likable, but I really feel this was Hannah's story. Seeing Ruth and Evan again was also quite nice, and I liked learning more about Zach too.

One of my reading goals this year is to get through Talia Hibbert's blacklist. I absolutely love her wtiting style, she writes the best banter and steam. After reading Ruth's book a few years ago I knew I would love Hannah's book and wasn't wrong. This book is full of so many troupes that I love single dad, forced proximity and mutual pining. I love the relationship and the chemistry between Hannah and Nate. I love the premise of this book; and just like all of the other books I've read by Talia this book deals with heavy topics but is handled so well. I really enjoyed the side characters in this book and we are introduced to the MC's of the next book. I'm looking forward to finishing this series.

What to expect: Nanny, Forced Proximity, Roommates

Talia's writing is some of my favorite and this book was no different!

Here women are always a bit sassy and spunky, while the guys are the definition of golden retriever. I loved seeing the characters from the first book, and getting hints about the next one.

I know this series has been optioned for TV and I think it would be SO MUCH FUN!
