I have mixed feelings about this book. I felt like the overall story was good, but the writing wasn't engaging. I had a hard time keeping interest even though I generally liked the story and characters. I even felt emotional a few times, so I know there were good bones to this book, but it also felt like a bit of a chore to continue reading.
Despite this, I would still recommend the book.

I was really into this book at first. I liked the dual point of views. It had a good storyline and a great take on the turmoil the family unit had and was going through. At some point the ending felt so obvious that the rest of the book became boring for me.
