This book was easy to devour! Sad it sat on my TBR so long. I kept thinking I had it figured out but it kept me on my toes. I def didn’t realize the big twist until it came. Also, this book ties up all the loose ends in a nice little bow which was kind 🤣 will be reading more from this author

I enjoyed the storyline and the twists! However, the writing wasn’t everything I wanted it to be. It definitely got better over the course of the book, but it was rough in the beginning. I spent the first few chapters wondering if the author knew what a comma was. The sentences were so short and not a lot of transition words were used, which didn’t read well to me. I’m glad the sentence structure improved over the course of the book, but the beginning took a star off my rating.

Also, this took about 50-80 pages to get into, but I’m so happy I stuck with it. Like I said above, the beginning was rough and the story wasn’t very appealing. It does get better after the first 50-100 pages though! So if you are like me and thinking about DNF-ing only a few chapters in, please stick with it. I promise it gets better.

I was rooting for the FMC until the end. 
This was a good book, strong female characters, plot was twisty. Easy read too.
