The Maid's Diary

I enjoyed the storyline and the twists! However, the writing wasn’t everything I wanted it to be. It definitely got better over the course of the book, but it was rough in the beginning. I spent the first few chapters wondering if the author knew what a comma was. The sentences were so short and not a lot of transition words were used, which didn’t read well to me. I’m glad the sentence structure improved over the course of the book, but the beginning took a star off my rating.

Also, this took about 50-80 pages to get into, but I’m so happy I stuck with it. Like I said above, the beginning was rough and the story wasn’t very appealing. It does get better after the first 50-100 pages though! So if you are like me and thinking about DNF-ing only a few chapters in, please stick with it. I promise it gets better.

I was rooting for the FMC until the end.
This was a good book, strong female characters, plot was twisty. Easy read too.

NOW THIS—this is what I call unputdownable. If it weren’t for real-life responsibilities, I would’ve devoured the whole thing in one sitting. The audiobook? Chef’s kiss. A full-on 10/10 that elevated the entire experience.

This story moves fast, and the characters? Total addiction. I was obsessed with figuring out how they were all connected. It’s a thrilling, pulse-pounding ride from start to finish. Midway through, I didn’t even care if there were plot twists—the storytelling alone had me hooked—but then BAM, it still hit me with twists I never saw coming.

That ending? Jaw on the floor. Goosebumps. Actual, literal chills.

This is a 6-star read, no doubt about it.

great mystery!

This book was great- kept me on my toes, I had so many theories about what the ending would be and though I had some suspicion, I didn’t have the full picture figured out!
