This was an absolutely amazing read. Got me a bit teary & emotional at the end. I didn’t ever think I'd feel so much for a character in a psych-thriller novel because 99% of the time the characters are horrible. It's so satisfying & left a good feeling in my mind - which is also an uncommon thing in case of psychological thrillers.

Twists, turns, and wonderfully shocking. While I saw a couple of the turns coming the ones I didn't hit with some oftentimes jaw-dropping impact. Kit is a fantastic character and I love the idea of certain chapters detailing an actual diary.

BABBBBBBY! This is the first book of my July “31 Days of Thrillers” and I’m starting with my first SIX STAR read of 2025!!! I was wrong about literally EVERYTHING. Kit, the maid is the type of bih you should NEVER cross. When I say baby girl played the long gameeeeeeeeeee! I mean plot twist after plot twist after plot twist! This book should be called “How to Ruin a Mfer Life” 🤣🤣😂😂😂 But I support Kit in all her endeavors lol I pray totally and full destruction of ALL sexual predators and sometimes when the justice system doesn’t help, you have to step in and get it yourself! NO NOTES!
Burned through this in what was essentially one sitting. I started to figure out what was happening which took a bit of the suspense away, but White did a really great job building the tension. Would not recommend this to someone who finds stories about SA triggering, though.
4.5 Stars. Great story lots of twists. Well worth reading.
