Generally good, highly emotional but also very confusing at times. I understand why one of the author's website FAQs is about explaining the "angel genital situation" because understanding where that suddenly came from would, I feel, have aided my understanding of what I just read. This book comes with pretty much all the content warnings, especially if you have religious trauma.

I get what it was going for and there was some beautiful prose, but there was only like one time where I felt any emotional connection to the characters/lucifer.
I think the repetitiveness of the first half just didn’t build much connection for me, which I needed since we all know how it’s going to end.
