This book is so frustratingly wonderful.  I would find myself hurting for Magnolia and BJ just wanting them to find their way back to each other, but then realize with quick little shocks just how toxic they are to each other and how they really should not end up together.  But the way it’s told, when you are reading their POV, you can feel the love, longing, and heartache.  When it switches to the other person’s POV, it reveals the same sequence but just how toxic the actions and words of the other character was.

i’m actually destroyed. i think this book actually altered my brain chemistry because i haven’t felt so deeply and emotionally for characters since the addicted series. this was a rollercoaster of emotions and no one can convince me that bj and magnolia aren’t soulmates. i need at least 5-7 business days to process this book
