Glidden has the good idea to always stay sceptical, inquisitive and honest about her experience of an Americain Jew on a birthright tour of Israël. Her attempt to reconcile her jewish heritage and the palestinian current situation is a complex issue and she tackles it with enough subtlety and wit to make it a worthwhile read for anyone interested about the notions of identity, cultural heritage and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
