I LOVED IT!! What an amazing book, the author is such an incredible writer and made me want to explore Henrietta and the ley lines with the characters. Such an interesting concept, I cannot wait to continue with the series. I can tell I’m gonna enjoy this journey so much. ALSO, did I mention the characters?? So interesting and lovable! Adam is such a strong and inspiring character! And Ronan, and Gansey, and Blue. I love them all.

4* only because I always have trouble with first books. The story introduction can feel a bit boring or slow at times & I know I’ll enjoy the next books FAR more!

This was a really good book. If I had read it years ago, I would have absolutely loved this. As it was, I really enjoyed reading this book. Definitely had some good character moments, and I was blown away by the tight pacing and enjoyable story. Really glad I read it, and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of The Raven Cycle. 4.5/5 stars

At first I was confused because I didn't know what they are talking about, I had to search some of the words they mentionned, but after that I got into it and I really enjoyed reading it

This book has some of the best characters that any book has. The reason that it's not five stars as I found the writing a bit to descriptive for me but I will 100% continue with the series. I started the second one a while ago but it was it from the library and I was busy at uni so I didn't end up finishing it. I will definitely but the series as the hardcovers are divine and so are the characters. I do know some spoilers though - in the asterisks *** the couples of both Bluesy and Pynch are great and when I continue the second I will read more about Pynch*** some of the books in this series that Maggie Stiefvater has written focus more on certain characters than others which is a nice change of pace than obvious main ones and because of how great the characters are the changing perspectives didn't bother me at all like they usually do as they were so vital with this book and series.
