I can’t seem to stop inhaling books about the Kennedy women, particularly the ones who married into the family. Taraborrelli delivers.

Loved! Of course it is one of my favorite subjects. Very easy to read bio on the three Kennedy wives. A good balance between the 3 as they intertwine. I would say Joan gets the short end of the stick but not by much. Can't wait to start After Camelot.

Just how much of this book was actual truth, one can't be certain, but there are over 50 pages of acknowledgements and sources, so I would have to say it's pretty close.
Well-written and gives an insiders view of three women who were prominent in my "growing up" years.
Learned lots of tidbits about each of the women and it reinforced what I believed about the Kennedy men. They were liars and cheats and the women were just supposed to sit back and accept it. Some were able to, some could overlook it, and one was driven to alcoholism by it and by the fact that the Kennedys used her to beef up Ted's image.

I bought this to learn about the Kennedy family. The author sure did a good job of painting each woman’s personality. And I have a much fuller idea of other family members now too. Kinda wish I didn’t know as much now, because the men in this family were all asses. But that’s not the author’s fault.

This book read a bit like a gossip column...not that that's necessarily a bad thing, but when I finished, I didn't feel I'd really read a history book. It was fascinating, however, to read some of the intimate, lurid details of the family history, and to learn of the relationship among the sisters-in-law.

Four-stars seems a bit too much for this book, but I did really enjoy it. It was a relatively light, entertaining read about the Kennedy women.

Love, Love, Loved this book. I knew very little about Ethel and even less about Joan. Very informative without seeming very gossipy.
Can't wait to read more.
