-Draw your curtains.

Is this classified as horror because horror it was not. Supernatural - sure. Horror. No.

I would maybe rate this 3.5 stars. The author kept my interest for the majority of the book. I think once I got to the last 4-5 chapters, I started skimming.

The beginning pulled me in pretty quickly. I LOVED the mystery owner of the house only communicating with notes. It kept it creepy. But the creepy factor died out rather quickly. That doesn't mean I was less interested but it was a little disappointing.

Overall, I would say it's an alright book. Didn't love it. Didn't hate it.

Rating : 3.5/5
I read this book quite quickly. It's a short book the chapters are not too long yet descriptive and very interesting. This is my 2nd book of this author. The first one was The haunting of Ashburn House . The earlier one I found better than this one. This story isn't much haunting it's more on good side.

The chapters are descriptive and easy to understand and scenes can be imagined easily. Though I wish the book could be more of a horror book than just a mystery book.

Daniel, a lost and poor guy got a job offer at craven manor with some rules where he uncovers some secrets.
Overall it's a ok book. But I won't read it twice.

Daniel is a poor guy living with his cousin Kyle. He's good at heart probably a little too too good. So he got job offer at craven manor as groudskepper with some rules to follow that obviously add some horror feel to the story.

OK so he begin his job but he encountered the ghost of a little girl there and he didn't have any idea about it's owners but little by little he got to know the secrets of the manor and the family who used to live there. Then some mistakes happen from him and his cousin which prevented the story from being boring. And then everything gets well in the ending.

mysterious

Super bland book but an easy read. Enjoyed the back story of Bran (probably the best part). I want to know who says these stories are horror because they need to look that definition up
