OMG! To like the 20th power. This book was an emotional roller coaster. I loved every minute and fell head over heads in love with Tate. Ya see, I kinda have a thing for goalies! So anyway, this book was fantastic and Mrs Aloe's writing just keeps getting better. I really never thought I would find a bookish heart throb I loved more than obviously Mr Darcy, but then came Shea and Lucas and now Tate! I don't usually read books more then once but I have gravitated back to the first two in the series and know I will read empty net again. Super excited to see more books from this author and please god tell me Phillip Anderson is going to get his book soon. I know there has got to be more to him then the fuck'em and leave'em playboy he appears to be. I will be waiting impatiently for blue lines like I waited impatiently for empty net. Kudos to you Toni, I will be on pins and needles waiting for the next and I'm sure will buy it the second it comes out too!

The main characters are so believable. Audrey is in a dead end job, having a dream, but afraid to go for it. Tate Odder may be great goalie, but it isn't enough. After the death of his parents and sister; his heart is empty. They are neighbors that never seem to meet, but his piano playing comforts her, and her cupcakes sweeten his sad days. What I really like about all of Toni Aleo's books is that the characters have to work for their happy ever after, making the stories more realistic.

Today (May 29, 2019) I finished the audiobook of Empty Net. I am completely addicted to Toni Aleo's Audiobooks. They are so entertaining. The narrator has an amazing ability to express emotions.

This is my favorite out of the series so far! I fell hard for Tate in Trying to Score, and fell even further in this one.

I think Toni is getting better and better with each book. I literally can't wait to continue with this series! It's quickly become one of my favorites. I highly recommend picking up this series, and reading them in ORDER!!

Now, the rest of what I have to say, is probably major spoilers! But I have to say them.

This book would of been almost perfection, had Levi not came back into the picture. I hate him, by the way. Part of me feels like Audrey being beaten was too much. I did however want Levi taken away. I didn't want him to be a part of these stories any more than he already was. I didn't want Lucas to be tied to that guy anymore.

Also, I am SOOOO glad that Audrey got pregnant. I was hoping, beyond hope that should would accidentally get pregnant! That was my one wish for this book and I'm so glad Toni delivered it! Thank you!!

This is the third book in the series, the first two I have yet to read, and although there are characters from the beginning, I would say that this book could be considered a stand-alone. After reading Empty Net it made me want to read the first two.

Audrey may not have been my favorite character in this book because while she was so strong in other ways, she failed to be strong when it came to Levi (Levi=jerk.) She knew what she wanted in life, a real life Prince Charming, but when he came she shied away leaving poor Tate absolutely confused. Because of her shyness, I considered this to really help me as the reader learn more about these two characters. Audrey laid it on the table that all they can be are friends and nothing more. This gave me that awesome part of the story where a relationship grows from a friendship that is formed. To me, friends turning into lovers are always the best stories.

Tate has to be the sweetest guy ever. Audrey would give love, freak out, and then take it all back but Tate just accepted it. He wanted her in his life so bad that he was willing to take anything that she was willing to give. If that is not the definition of Prince Charming then I don’t know what is.

Loved this book. They make a wonderful couple and i want a guy just like him (to bad i don't know any hockey players;) ). The story line was great and Levi was an excellent villian even though i don't like to like anything about him i can say that. Can't wait for the next book!

well maybe when I started the book 3? years ago I was on overload and did not had the energy for this book.

I liked it I think her hesitations are real and her incapacity to get out of a twisted realtionship reallistic. or as realistic it can be for a romance novel.

I liked that he was so much younger. I wish more main character were like him and not always the reformed out of the blue horndog.

"Book Three Assassins series

Audrey Parker was unhappy with her life, she is just going through the motions at work, since she works in the family business it's not like she can tell her dad she hates her job, To make things worse she ends up alone at her sisters wedding, because of a fight with her jerk boyfriend. Audrey doesn't want to be jelious of her sister and her beautiful day, she is just sad she hasn't found her Prince Charming, so she ends up drowning her sorrows so much so that when she wakes the next morning she isn't alone.

Tate Odder ,a Swede picked up by the Assassins from their farm team in Florida, is an amazing goalie and loves his new team family. Lucas Brooks (the groom at the wedding) is Tate's best friend and so he attends Lucas and Fallon's wedding even though he doesn't know many people there. When he spots the beautiful, curvy brunette walk into the room he is instantly smitten. Tate finally works up the courage to go talk to her at the bar and pretty soon they end up back in his room having earth shattering sex.

When Audrey Wakes up next to Tate she doesn't even know his name but she needs to get the heck out of there. Through a series of coincidences Tate and Audrey meet again, and again. Audrey thinks she should just take a break from men after the mess with Levi, her ex that dumped her the day of the wedding, and Tate needs to prove that even though he is younger he is ready to make a commitment to Audrey.

This is a stand alone book and while you don't have to read books one and two to enjoy book three I would suggest that you do.

What can I say this book has it all its fantastic tale of romance, sex, love and happily ever afters and all the ups and down and work that goes into making that happily ever after happen. The main characters lives are intertwined with the secondary characters to the extent that you learn all about them as well. The story written in such a way you feel like you are part of the lives of Tate and Audrey. You cheer for them, ache for them, want to strangle them and Love them. We have ice melting hot sex, fights, make ups, misunderstandings and finally Audrey's Prince Charming and her happily ever after.

I give this book 5 cocktails I would add it to my bookshelf of books to re-read over and over again.
