This was a cute little read. I love the nerdy, introverted space nerd. I like the friends she found even when she wasn't really trying. and Flynn is a heart stopper. The spicy scenes were ok the build up to them was better. I would say you could even skip the scenes if you wanted some closed door spice. Good read, can't wait to see what happens with her friends.

STEM FMC! Living in the Houston area, NASA is always a fun setting for me. The spice and plot are good in this series.

Would give 3.5 stars if I could. It’s entertaining and the characters are likable. Everyone’s hotness got a little annoying and I’m embarrassed for Finn that his dick acts like it’s 18 years old. Can’t speak about the accuracy of the NASA stuff.

I first read the book and then listened to the audio. The female narrator wasn’t that great at differentiating the female characters, especially Jackie and Rose. The pronunciation of “altimeter” was annoying (she used the UK pronunciation, I guess).

I was looking forward to reading about a nerdy NASA employee finding love. But i can't read CR novels where MCs ignore rules of social conduct. FMC helps a drunk girl get home, then girl stalks the FMC (including paying someone off 100d to let her know when FMC will show up) and inserts herself into FMCs life. MMC (drunk girls brother) who was really rude to FMC after interacting with her 2 times for a couple of minutes throws her over his shoulder and puts her into his car (cos she didnt want to accept a ride from him) and then gives her a kiss goodbye out of nowhere (him being hot does not make this behavior ok). If i were FMC, i would consider restraining order against the whole family right there. Then i reached my limit of "not like other girls" comments by 25% in.

I was pleasantly surprised to find the titular "space junk" was indeed fictional debris hitting the International Space Station.

The book began so clever and witty, but the male main character was often cringe-worthy and multiple eye rolls ensued. By the end, I just was ready for it to be over.

This is Book #1 in the Space Series

“And oh sweet Neptune, if I’d deduced him as being a chronically angry guy from all our earlier interactions, this new evidence completely destroys that once logical conclusion. Because Flynn’s smile outdoes both his cars combined in the creation of downtown, happy dance tingles.”

Jackie is a workaholic NASA engineer. Her friend forces her to create Operation Social Life and opens herself up to new friends and romance.
