I really liked Jackie and Flynn. I thought they were a cute couple. I did not like any of the supporting characters, particularly Flynn’s sister Rose.
So when I started this, it had potential! I liked the cute science references and how much she loved space and got excited over it.
But this book just seemed very… wattpad? It was very cliche and had the worst trope “she’s not like other girls” like I understand, she’s super smart and is really into science but it was just too much. Like yes she doesn’t wear dresses, or heels and is completely useless with guys. But it was overused and just written really badly.
Then of course his ex was described as a “barbie” who hurt him a lot and had Botox and used him for his money
I feel it was clearly stated she was a nerd, she would ramble about nerdy things and get excited over it but when the characters basically treated being a nerd as a bad thing, it was just unnecessary. And when she feared he was going to think she was a nerd because of her space ceiling… I nearly threw my kindle… like I think he already knows this..
There was some cute moments and I did laugh and fish over some scenes but Honesty, the plot wasn’t really there, I preferred it when they broke up and I liked her character a lot more after.
Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for allowing me to read this arc in exchange of my honest review.

This was a fun, quick read. As a girl whose childhood dream was to work for NASA, I appreciated the women in STEM rep. I also appreciate some substance with my spice, so this ticked all the boxes.
Definitely picking up the next in the series.

I liked this but there was something weird that I've been thinking about that really shouldn't have bothered me but well it did and it's my review and my experience so I can focus on what I like.
So I loved Jackie and Flynn, they were super cute and I loved all the side characters, and I loved how over the top everything was and how it all felt rather like a soap opera but a soap opera in NASA. It was fun.
But well, Fox News was mentioned like three times and in a non derisive way. And even though this is a silly reason to be annoyed with a book it's what we got. I personally don't think Fox News should be mentioned in any book unless you are trying to convey how truly sheep like and ignorant the person watching it is.
Harsh? Yes.
Accurate and how the majority of the world sees people who watch Fox News? Also, yes.

Wer also keine New Adult Romane mag, ist hier falsch. Alle anderen können aber gerne mal einen Blick darauf werfen.

Y'all, I really tried, but DNF'd at 50%. It's just so cringy! She has two masters and a PhD at only 29, and has no idea how sexy she is! She's so quirky, she wears glasses! She gets turned on when the car turns on! She has no idea how ghetto her apartment building is! She has no friends at work! I just can't.
Finished this book in a couple of days! I loved that this book featured a highly intelligent FMC who knew what she wanted and worked hard to obtain her goals.
I loved this so much. Especially when the nerdy girl asks for her autograph and totally disregards the “celebrity” asshole. That was icing on this cake.
