I can’t believe this is Britt Andrews’ first book. It is so well written, the characters are so memorable (and swoon worthy) and those sesh scenes, wowza.

Firstly, we have our FMC, Saige. Funny, sassy, strong and plus size! Finally a character I can relate more too. I thought she would be the female character I would enjoy the most but then we have her grandmother, Gran. She might be one of my favorite parts of the books. Absolutely hilarious, she stole the show in all her scenes. I want to be Gran when I grow up.

Then we have our men. Yes, men. Each with their own distinct personality, physical characteristics and... *ahem* preferences. You can’t help but pick a favorite even though you love them all. I think the author did a great job introducing them and keeping the readers very, very interested.

Looking forward to the rest of this trilogy!

I should have followed my gut and not started this book. I read some reviews and was a little concerned I might not like this writing style but I went for it because it has such a high star rating.
I don't enjoy daddy kink
I don't enjoy words like cringy peen and cunt, if it's just once in a while I get over it but I have a feeling this author just uses too many cringy words for me. Peen? Ugh I hate that word.
Anyway I'm not going to waste any further time on the second half of this book as its just not for me.

So, I can appreciate the smut and story, but now know I cringe when she calls him Daddy. I just can't. Other then that, everything else about this book I like. I like all the individuals and I can already see them evolve. But secrets as big as the one Sloane are keeping, are never a good thing. That's gonna bite him in the ass, hard, not in a good way. I hope Saige ties him up!

EEEEK

Read this for my local book club and I AM FLOORED!!! I went in with incredibly low expectation for some ungodly reason and when I say this is hands down my FAVORITE fantasy series OF THE YEAR??!!?! AND IM ONLY ON BOOK ONE!?!???! Read this, then read it again, then read the series. If you like your fantasy with incredible characters, plot twists, and so much steam, READ THIS. If you’re in a slump, READ THIS. If you’re alive in any way, shape, or form, READ THIS. You won’t regret it! 100000/10

It was not the worst book but also not good. I am apparently not a big fan of „the bratty girl“. It just annoys the hell out of me.

Whew - that was steamy!

W-O-W! What a hot start to this series! I’m hooked! Here’s a quick recap and my two cents.

Quick recap:

Saige and her Gran live in a small town that’s mostly magical with a few humans. Saige owns a mostly magical store called The Mystical Pig.

Four men are sent to Saige’s little town in search of someone their boss is looking for. Once there, they all meet Saige and decide it’ll be good to spend more time with her in hopes she’ll lead them to the person they’re looking for.

My two cents:

Hot and steamy! Reverse harem (RH) novels are new to me. I’ve only read one before this. I’ve read several ménage books, but they aren’t the same. RH books are usually a completely new level of heat!

I enjoyed meeting all the characters. Kai is probably my favorite. He’s the jokester of the group and the most fun. He seems like the type who is the life of the party, but if you cross him, he’ll slit your throat.

Of course all the men are awesome in their own way. I can’t wait to see how Sloane grows throughout the series!

As I mentioned, the sex scenes are hot and steamy! Have some relief handy! There is both MM and FM and all other combinations, so if that isn’t your cup of tea, then this isn’t the right series for you.

I had a small issue with Saige being so surprised when the found out demons were real. If mages and witches are real, then why can’t demons, fairies, etc be real?

And why hasn’t she realized what that means about herself? Are these things not obvious when you’re living them? I’m not sure that’s realistic. All the clues are obviously there.

I’m excited to go read the next book! Definitely read this if you like RH fantasy books. Happy reading y’all!
