Review went missing. How does save not working?

New favorite. I love Puller! Sort of like Reacher in a way.

I got annoyed first thing when the too good to be true main character tough dude set off a metal detector because he had a rod in his leg. I have a rod, a plate, screws, and pins in my leg and have never set off anything. Maybe that colored my enjoyment of the book because I just didn't like Puller all that much, and didn't end up enjoying the story much either. Puller seemed like a Jack Reacher ripoff, and I don't like Reacher all that much either.

First entry in the series has a lot that is familiar and typical of other Baldacci books, and is again too long. It is not a brilliant book and is a very soft 3. Maybe the series gets better but this one just felt like he went back to the same well one too many time and was a little stale.

Ok, it's a bit of a Jack Reacher lookalike, maybe even more than a bit, but I liked it, and plan to read more of the series.

I like Baldacci's books - they are easy and fun to read, and this was no exception.
