Enjoyed this investigative book. Puller is military and very capable to hold his own in any battle. He has skills, and I enjoyed reading about his investigative nature. The storyline was really good, I enjoyed learning a bit about what's uncovered. (no spoilers here) Very exciting and suspenseful.

John Puller is very similar to Will Robie and I think reading the two series close together made it even more obvious. It was exciting and complicated and I wasn't 100% happy about the ending.

This one was heart-wrenching, to say the least. It's also entirely possible that I became way too emotionally connected to the characters contained within these pages.

3.5 i like the John Puller character and good story. Fast read. Libby Audible

It was an ok book..Could've been better :)

Started strong, I liked the characters and the setting of West Virginia coal country. The plot got ridiculous really quickly with the whole nuclear bunker issue which was a little out there. Also, disappointed that a character as well developed as Sgt. Cole was killed in about two seconds of writing. The conclusion was rapid and unsatisfying.

David Balducci always gives me a great story with wonderful characters!
