Such a fun, exciting read! A great start to a series I have to finish. Some silly humor but overall a fun read.

After a horrible night of not sleeping, I just needed some sweet loving books.

Divorced, Desperate, and Delicious was a pretty fun book to listen to. In it, you will meet Lacy who is recently (well you guessed it) divorced and is looking for someone to scratch her itch. Wait, is that the actual saying or am I just making something up and super gross? Eh, either way.. she needs to get laid and stat!

She didn't want to be doomed to her family curse, because every woman so far has had plenty of divorces, so she tried to avoid all of that mess. Yet, karma seemed to find her anyway because she caught her ex cheating on her. So, yeah.. but at least she didn't get a divorce? HA!

Okay, so she's off with her dog, Fabio (great name by the way!), and her three cats. Living the life and still maintaining her photography job she seems pretty content. Well, she was until the day she met Chase Kelly. Two peas in a pod guys - they were sexy and adorable at the same time. I loved getting to know them and watch them grow into a beautiful relationship. It definitely made me smile until the end.

Overall, I might dive into the rest of the series - hopefully they are good as well!

Completely predictable and definitely not a book that requires any deep thought but it's a good beach read or a good book to read when you need something light after one of those deep, engrossing books. The story is cute and the sex scenes aren't raunchy.

This book was a fun, light hearted read, even though there was some suspense. Story 3.5, Heat 3. Lacy is a divorced, wacky pet photographer who is desperate for sex, but doesn't want casual sex because she is afraid to fall in love and get married immediately like her mom has done numerous times. Chase is a good cop, framed for drugs and murder. Chase is shot by the bad cop, but gets away to Lacy's house and hides out there.

When Chase shows up in her backyard, Lacy is doing a Christmas photo shoot (in February) with her pets dressed for Christmas, decorations and Christmas music. She comes off completely whack-a-doo. At first she is scared, but after he handcuffs her to her bed so he can get some rest, she begins to believe him, and as they work to clear his name, they begin to fall for each other.

The cast of wacky characters in this book make it fun, especially Lacy's mom and her friend Sue. The book had a similar feel to Janet Evanovich's books, which are fun, yet have another criminal story going on. I liked the characters and the story. It was a fun read. The book ended at 88% which disappointed me because I thought there was going to be more.

Recommended for a light, fun read in between the more intense, can't put sown books.

It was going so well until the lead female became annoying and stubborn. Even so, I still want to read Kathy's and the Plumber's story.

Funny, contemporary romance. Lacy is a divorced photographer. Chase is a widowed cop on the run after being setup and shot. He hides out at Lacy’s and sparks fly.
