I absolutely love this series so far — God of Pain was everything I wanted and more. After devouring God of Malice, I was desperate to dive into Annika and Creighton’s story, and let me tell you… it delivered in the most sinful, satisfying way.

i struggled through the first book. i was hoping the first book was just a fluke and the 2nd book would be better. i was wrong. again, the smut felt like the main driving force of this book and the plot was to like fill in the gaps between those scenes.

also the petname "little purple" is the worst. i finished this book in spite of constantly having to read that with my own eyes
