4.5 hot stars

Hotshot Doc is hot, sexy, and sweet. It's an adorable and smirk inducing good time. It will fulfil your Grey's Anatomy quota while also giving you the hot nerd factor as well. We can even throw in the second chance of you want. Enemies to...

I'm not throwing any more possible genres at you but I will tell you it's the perfect pick me up read.

"I’ve perfected every spinal procedure in the book, but when it comes to matters of the heart, I’m a complete idiot. Good thing I didn’t go into cardio."

Light, fun, sexy enemies-to-lovers romantic comedy that's perfect for a holiday read. Hotshot Doc has all the best elements that I've come to expect from R.S. Grey with the perfect mix of humor and romance.

YAY! Another book from R.S. Grey!

It has been a while since I have a book of hers. I was also a bit shocked that I didn't know that this book came out. I'm a terrible reader - sorry!

In it, you will meet Dr. Russell, aka Matt, and Bailey. Now I'm going to say this right now, if he was my doctor - I'd be sick every damn day. Unfortunately, he isn't real so I just had to be okay with him and Bailey together. Which was pretty easy if I'm being honest. These two were so cute and adorable. Matt is the bad boy in this book and Bailey was just hilarious and likable. Out of these two, Bailey was definitely my favorite.

Now this book will definitely have romance.. but it was just going so freaking slowly. Every now and then I do enjoy slow burns..but ugh, it was like glacial pace for me. I wanted to cry. However, once I freaking started to understand these characters - I did actually end up enjoying this book.

Overall, I wish I got more romance and that I liked Matt a bit more but thank god for Bailey!

LOVED THIS BOOK!!! EEEEEK!!!!!! Ok let me spell this all out for you: grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity, he smiles for nobody but her (and her sister), partial love triangle... I CAN GO ON AND ON!!!! Matt and Bailey were so cute and you could see the development of their relationship and ugh I was rooting from them since the start. Dr. Russell is one heck of a guy hahahaha. Loved his relationship with Josie, too. The epilogue was literally perfect I have zero complaints, it all tied together so well. Another quick read but totally worth it. *sigh* (also for you Grey's fans out there, this is most definitely the one for you)

Like other R.S. Grey books, I thoroughly enjoyed this one! There's something about a good rom com that I just LOVE. So far, Grey does them best! Although I don't know why, I love a good slow burning romance. The beginning was a little annoying because of how Matt was treating Bailey. I get that he's married to his job, but good god! Why fight the feelings! I understand though since he's her superior.

I love the dynamic between Bailey and Josie. I love even more how Matt fit in with them. I wish we got to read more about Bailey and Josie spending time with his family, but I guess that has its place in another book.

Overall, this was a super cute read! I think the choice to move with him made sense since that's what Bailey wanted out of her career as well, and it helped Josie see the world. I'm glad it wasn't impulsive and that she actually considered how the decision would impact her life. This would make a cute little movie! Looking forward to trying out another Grey book.
