Updated review:
The heroine was a bit annoying at times with all her hesitation and dithering. Also, the character of the little sister, Josie, didn't always make sense. I mean, at times she acts so mature and sets up her sister on dates and stuff, and then at other times she acts like a toddler who doesn't know her sister wants to spend time with her new boyfriend and sits between the two on a date, like wtf.

Original review:
Honestly would've liked it if the book were a little longer...wanted to see more of their relationship together...as a MAJOR Grey's anatomy fan, I LOVE reading Medical romances, especially if they have similarities to the show. All in all, loved the book

Dont get me wrong, I loved it. But I just want more conflict. I wanted a lot more on the Cooper side at the beginning. I just wanted more.

All hail the Rom Com queen! R.S. Grey has done it again.

Hotshot Doc was such a fun and entertaining read! I loved Bailey- she was everything I wish I could be: fierce, smart and able to control her emotions in even the toughest of situations (I cry like a baby on a regular basis). Her relationship with her sister, Josie, was one of my favorite relationships Rachel has written about- I think she perfectly captured how it is living with a little sister.

Matt was such a great character too- I loved all of his layers. That’s all I’m going to say about that- I don’t want to give too much away!

I grew up in a household with Doctor, so I’m always impressed by medical jargon! Being New England born and bred, I also loved the setting of this book. She definitely got the cold and chill of a winter setting right. I love how Rachel uses relevant references to popular cultural things- I love whenever she references Harry Potter! Basically, she is my favorite and I love all of her books.

This book was just ok for me. I had the most issues with Bailey. I get that she puts her sister first and a love life is on the back burner however I found her so hot and cold and that just gets to me. It almost feels like she’s messing with him. She makes out with him then gives him a contract saying they will no longer do that then get all pissy and jealous because he’s talking to a women in the hallway. Just wow. The point where it really got to me was when they were doing a surgery and she decides taking a chance on Matt is worth it by there are other jobs but only 1 Matt. Then why oh why in the next scene is she running from him? Not to mention she’ll miss him so she will randomly call him and then be upset when he tries to pursue something. She’s messing with him. Of course they finally end up together and he’s great with her sister. Overall it was just ok for me.
