I really liked the characters and I liked them together, Rory is amazing and I would be obsessed with her in real life.
But the main plot complication is miscommunication, and when that revolves around an accidental love potion, you need to immediately tell that person you think you’ve drugged them.

This was a fun romance. We get to enter a world where magical people live amidst non-magical people. Overall, I was rooting for the main characters in this book and enjoyed the descriptions of the many ways magic was used in the book.

This book was….ok. I really enjoy the writing style of the author and found her book very easy to read which is great. I enjoyed the world she created and could imagine it really easily in my head.
The thing I wasn’t such a fan of was, well, the plot I guess. It’s a fake dating romance where inevitably something goes wrong and instead of immediately talking about it they dry all kinds of different things first and it leaves you eye rolling and wanting to shout out loud “just talk to each other”!
Not a bad book at all but yeah, just ok.
