I KIND OF fell into a slump so my rating of this might be due to that fact.

Pros:
-Angela is a fantastic character
-Rocket's catch phrase about murder
-the dynamics between the characters

Cons:
-it was confusing if you didn't also read the Infinity issues that correlate
-the art styles changed multiple times
-Tony being there still felt weird, especially once him and Gamora hooked up

It was a decent volume, but only because Angela saved it.

This gets three stars for the art. Sara Pichelli,Francesco Francavilla, and Kevin Maguire all brought their A game to their respective issues. The Francavilla issues especially were visually stunning.
Storywise, the Angela stuff is just kind of there, for as good as his X-Men run has been, Bendis' GotG stuff is just kind of bland.

First of all, others seem confused: UNIVERSES WERE TORN OPEN. Hence a "random"person can be displaced in the, or a, universe. That being said, Angela doesn't seem like the first choice, but her interactions, especially with Gamora, have been perfect so far, The art keeps getting better, as do the characters as a whole. The action was amazing, but The story seems to have stagnated for no reason. I'll be skipping the Trial of Jean Grey tie-ins, as it correlates with my desire to read the X comics in order

I still see a lot of potential in this series, and I love the artwork, but I was not overwhelmed with this second volume. It focused way more on the character of Angela -- this volume's namesake -- than it did on the Guardians of the Galaxy. This is a rather odd decision by the creative team, considering the team is new and not particularly well developed at this early juncture in the series (this volume collects issues #4-#10). I think the writers got so excited about being able to use the Angela character -- a bit of an infamous property that was created by [a:Neil Gaiman|1221698|Neil Gaiman|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1234150163p2/1221698.jpg] and [a:Todd McFarlane|26019|Todd McFarlane|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1210968056p2/26019.jpg] for Image comics, and was later awarded to Gaiman after a lengthy legal battle -- that they let it get in the way of the natural development of the Guardian's story. A good example of this is the early fight scene between Angela and Gamora, which seemed forced and served as nothing more than a fan service skirmish between two scantily clad super ladies.

Die Dialoge sind wirklich toll und witzig, aber mir werden hier einfach zu viele Charaktere und Handlungsstränge willkürlich durcheinander geworfen.

Great introduction and addition to the Guardians book/story. Only negative, the other limited series broke up the flow a bit. I cannot wait for the next book.

since i am new to the whole graphic novel thing, bear with me on learning to write some reviews for them! as of right now, it is kinda a review on what i personally liked / didn't like.

likes!
- the characters and their interactions! rocket and tony stark banter was pure gold.
- gamora is amazing and im obsessed with her.
- the art was mesmerizing!

dislikes!
- TF was up with angela's outfit (or lack thereof.) dont even say 'oh its a comic book' like that gives a bad ass female angel/warrior an excuse to be wearing nothing but a belt into battle. my god.
- the art changed halfway through! my boyfriend says this is common, having a volume completed by several artists, but it really threw me off.

ok and thats a wrap on my very amateurish review, but hey, its time for me to go pick up the next in the story-line..

Surprisingly good, though not great. I would like to see more time taken with each character and perhaps Angela (dumb name) could find some clothes. The bits with Tony Stark were good. And perhaps "I am Groot" will remain funny. Gamora is pretty cool though. With pretty good art (mostly) and pretty good writing.
