since i am new to the whole graphic novel thing, bear with me on learning to write some reviews for them! as of right now, it is kinda a review on what i personally liked / didn't like.

likes!
- the characters and their interactions! rocket and tony stark banter was pure gold.
- gamora is amazing and im obsessed with her.
- the art was mesmerizing!

dislikes!
- TF was up with angela's outfit (or lack thereof.) dont even say 'oh its a comic book' like that gives a bad ass female angel/warrior an excuse to be wearing nothing but a belt into battle. my god.
- the art changed halfway through! my boyfriend says this is common, having a volume completed by several artists, but it really threw me off.

ok and thats a wrap on my very amateurish review, but hey, its time for me to go pick up the next in the story-line..

Surprisingly good, though not great. I would like to see more time taken with each character and perhaps Angela (dumb name) could find some clothes. The bits with Tony Stark were good. And perhaps "I am Groot" will remain funny. Gamora is pretty cool though. With pretty good art (mostly) and pretty good writing.

A sound read but not as good as the first volume. Some bits of the story were too abrupt and confusing.

Probably more of a 4.5. Angela is AMAZING and is creates a really interesting dynamic with Gamora.

Bendis never really fails, and he does a great job here of picking his spots for the trademark humor and irreverence that sets this title apart. Tony Stark is also a welcome addition to the team adding more fun as we see the Guardians not all that impressed with a real super hero. Additionally, Sara Pichelli is a real up and comer who uses her art to inject just a bit of cartoony quality to match Bendis's goofy dialogue. She also adds just the right amount of detail without over-drawing.

I'm not a fan of the whole Infinity plot line, but Angela is an interesting character, and her interactions with the Guardians are still engrossing despite all the Thanos stuff.

The new Guardians of the Galaxy trailer launched this week, so what better way to celebrate the awesomeness than continuing with volume 2 of Marvel Now's space opera?

Zany, funny and beautiful, this was hella cool and I want to know where Thanos is hiding.

Whilst I enjoyed parts of this, there seems to be big gaps in the story & I had to just guess at what had happened.
I'm assuming the gaps are covered by other comics/graphic novels but it's a shame we're not given the full picture.
I didn't particularly want to have to pick up other graphic novels & wanted to just read adventures about the Guardians.

Another annoying thing is that details are lost in the book's gutter and this should have been considered when printing.

3.5 rounded up to 4. bendis writes so much fun guardians banter. this switches art styles for a few issues but i actually didn’t mind it.

Decent story that lacked engagement.
