The colliding dimensions have given us Angela who sort of appears out of nowhere. I don't know who she is (though a bit of back reading uncovered some interesting real-world drama) and she doesn't know who she is but she's hell bent on finding Thanos but until then, she's just hanging out playing buddy buddy with Gamora.

I love the silent panels, and the change in art which happens partway through. Though I didn't care for it too much it was a nice change of pace. Curious to see how the story continues to unfold.

Not a big fan of this. Who the hell is Angela and why should I care? Meh.

My review of Volume 1 stands for this as well.

Yeah, I like these OK. Angela's a bit of an awkward addition... could be intriguing but mostly just nothing at the moment.

Would've given this a 4 but I was confused on some pages what order the panels were supposed to be read in. I'm only familiar with the movie but I'm really enjoying these

Bendis is almost always a fun writer to read, but this just didn't seem to go anywhere.

I liked the first part of this book, but I think not reading the other series that tie into this series has me a bit lost. The art also takes a change about the 3rd story in and it wasn't a change for the better in my opinion. The final story returns the artwork to the original style, but I wish it was consistent throughout. I also find the panels difficult to follow sometimes, as they can jump around and follow no pattern.

The story was interesting in the beginning. With plenty of banter, bar fights and a bounty on one of the Guardians. A new character (whose name is the title of this book) is introduced and we get a brief glimpse of the problems a tear in the spacetime continuum can cause.

All in all an okay adventure for the Guardians.

2.5 stars.

Yeah, this wasn't great.

I enjoyed Tony continuing to work with the team. The chemistry between Tony and Peter is great. They're both sarcastic and prone to making 80's references at the worst times. I can't wait to see them on screen together.

Angela showed up!! I love Angela! I really enjoyed her solo series and it was great seeing her interact with Gamora. They actually let Gamora lighten up a little bit here.

That was about all the compliments I have for this book. It wasn't very interesting outside of those tiny character interactions. It seemed a little like Bendis was biding time for the Infinity storyline.

Eh, not a recommend for me. You can see this adorable interactions all over Tumblr. That's sufficient.

This gets three stars for the art. Sara Pichelli,Francesco Francavilla, and Kevin Maguire all brought their A game to their respective issues. The Francavilla issues especially were visually stunning.
Storywise, the Angela stuff is just kind of there, for as good as his X-Men run has been, Bendis' GotG stuff is just kind of bland.
