Kristen Ciccarelli wrote such a riveting story in this two-part series. I absolutely loved every part of it and found it so hard to set the book down. In one sitting, I read nearly half of this book and was in awe at how little time had passed. I could probably have read this book in two sittings if I wasn't interrupted! This story was so magical and bewildering. I found myself frustrated with both Gideon and Rune, wondering how they could be so oblivious to each other's feelings. The ending had me breathless- I couldn't believe what happened.

I liked book 2 better than book one but again I could not connect to the motivations driving Rune and I just wanted so much more from this series. BUT, I thought the last 3rd of the book was really good.
The sting of the magic coated her skin as she hurriedly cast a spell. She willed it to work, to protect her as she made an escape. Everyone was after her and she had no one to trust… but maybe, just maybe, she could convince him one last time to trust her.
Rebel Witch is the second book in the Crimson Moth duology. Following Rune and Gideon once again, this book picks up right where book one leaves off.
I loved this sequel so much! I was hooked right away and didn’t want to stop reading. I love these characters and I’m so sad it’s over. Lots of action, lots of betrayal and secrets… so much to be entertained by, but I won’t say any more to avoid spoilers. I highly recommend this duology!
