This is my first book by Lauren Landish and it was a great introduction to her writing for me. This is the second book in the Bennett Boys series and though James and Sophie were mentioned often in this book, I didn't feel at a loss for reading this out of order.
I listened to the audiobook version and the 2 narrators did an amazing job of bringing this book to life for me. Jacob Morgan also brought the sexy to the sex scenes.
Was it a truly memorable book? No, not really. There isn't anything new or unique here. It's a story about a rancher working on his farm and meeting an events planner who is helping with the wedding of his younger brother. There is a little tension but it's mainly a story about these 2 characters learning about opening up to each other. It's sexy and sweet and lovely to read about the farm.

So I am still reading, but my problem is with the time line. Sophie is pregnant, but Mark says she has one year of vet school left...then a few paragraphs later it says they were engaged in November, which is when James asked her after his last ride in the rodeo. Sorry vet school is more than two years. It is a four year program... I am liking Mark and Kathryn so far.
