Great handbook of psychotherapy, only the format (very brief chapters) was sometimes hard to read.

Lots of helpful clinical advice. Too concerned with his clients falling in love with him.
I felt like Yalom was very entitled in his teachings and I didn’t like how that was com in across. I found myself not truly listening to it as I was reading, so I did not have the will to actually finish this book!

Should be required reading for anybody working in counseling, therapy, and mental health fields.

Loved reading this with my therapist book club! I love this authors candidness and authenticity. I was inspired and challenged deeply by his reflections. I would definitely recommend to any practicing therapists
